Download BECE 2025 Timetable for Both School and Private Candidates: The management of the west African examination council (WAEC) has released the timetable for candidates who will be sitting for the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) come June 2025. The timetable comes in two folds, thus , New Curriculum (49) students timetable and old curriculum students (48) timetable. 

The new curriculum timetable is for students who are currently in the JHS 3 and are studying to write the Normal (first time Waec) examination. Whiles the Old curriculum timetable is for candidates who have previously (2024 and below) sat for the examination but had issue with any of the subjects (failed) and have subsequently registered for a resit.

From the timetable the examination is expected to begin or Monday, 9th June, 2025 and ends on Friday 13th June 2025. But students who will be writing Arabic their last paper will be on Monday, 15th of June 2025.

Candidates Are To Note the Following:

  • Both papers for each Subject are to be taken at one sitting without break.
  • DIFFERENCE IN TIME ON QUESTION PAPER AND TIMETABLE
    Where the duration indicated on the question paper differs from that on the timetable, the
    one on the question paper should be followed.
  •  EXTRA TIME FOR VISUALLY AND HEARING IMPAIRED CANDIDATES
    Candidates with visual and hearing impairments are to be allowed an additional 50% of
    the time allotted to other candidates.
